As Elvis Duran would says.. “Hello! Lady!”…

Well, I hope everyone is now enjoying the warm weather! It is spring indeed.. which means 67 more days till our wedding. I am having wedding nightmares, literally. And as the day gets closer, my dreams seems to be getting worse. And, by worse, I mean, forgetting my underwear, DJ not showing up, sleeping through my wedding.. yes.. all that jazz.

But anyway, I wanted to share our invitation with you guys .. the layout of the design of the invitation was inspired by another artist/couple but I can’t seem to find their link– I can’t remember what I googled. It wasn’t a rectangle sheet like outs but a full 8.5 x 11 that was tri-folded like a letter. But I wanted to keep it simple by cutting our paper into one long piece (It was a lot of working slicing through one sheet at a time..).

Also, when using laser print on vellum paper, I highly recommend spraying hairspray on the vellums as a fixative. We had few returns and noticed some text that rubbed off (major bummer)– same goes for the envelopes. Incase it gets wet, you want to fix your ink so it doesn’t bleed or smudge.

We just wanted to keep it clean and simple yet, a touch of elegance. Enjoy!
